Ethereal Temporary

Inspired by the ephemeral beauty of flowers, a constant presence in my life thanks to my mom being a florist. After coming across paper flowers at an art fair, beautifully replicating real flowers, the contrast between the two types of flowers stuck out to me. On one hand, the paper flowers are a piece of art, delicately handmade, but the whole idea of paper flowers contradicts the innate definition of real flowers. How their permanence stood in stark contrast to the fragile, temporary nature of real flowers. The transience of flowers—the way they bloom, thrive, and fade so quickly—is precisely what gives them their profound beauty. In a world of overproduction, fast-paced living, and disregard of the world around us, flowers can remind us that beauty lies in the temporary. The collection embraces this idea, while also exploring sustainable fashion, creating pieces that are both beautiful and mindful of the environment, acknowledging that while nothing lasts forever, everything can leave a meaningful impact.
